We all had a ‘Super Glue’ tummy tuck

A REVOLUTIONARY new tummy tuck that leaves patients with less scarring and better-toned abs has been hailed as a major breakthrough in cosmetic surgery.

Dubbed the “Super Glue” tummy tuck, it gets rid of unwanted skin and creates a more defined and athletic-looking stomach. The procedure – a mix of traditional abdominoplasty with liposuction – was invented by one of the UK’s top cosmetic surgeons.

Chien Kat, who runs a clinic in Birmingham, says: “It combines more aggressive liposuction, internal locking stitches and tissue glue.

“I call it the ‘lock and glue tummy tuck’. I have carried out this procedure on about 200 patients. It’s not really super glue but a special medical-grade glue that helps the skin bond together.”

The cost of the “Super Glue” tummy tuck starts at around £5,000.
